Happy 5 week Birthday!

Yes I know it seems hard to believe that the babes are already 5 weeks old, boy time sure does fly! Well I am taking them tomorrow to see Dr. Stephanie for their first round of shots. All of the puppies are doing great! They are very active and playing like crazy. The lil' girl still is pushing her brothers around and showing them who's boss. I guess its fair 'cause it is two against one! They are all defiantly starting to look different from each other, where before they kinda all looked the same. On their 5 week birthday Our biggest boy is just shy of 3 lbs., our middle man and the little girl are just about tied in at 2.5 each. They are defiantly more and more fun as each day go's by. Although, I am starting to get a little sad because I only have a little more time with them, but I do have a great home that the big boy is going to go to in Rockey Mount. So I'm grateful for that! Well my next entry might get a little mushy, but until then...................

Three Weeks Old!

Time is just flying by with these new puppies! They are growing like little weeds. Alot had happened in the past few weeks! They all have their eyes open now and they are definitely testing out their legs and voices. Its unreal how fast they are growing and changing now. Today on their official 3week birthdays the biggest boy is 2 lbs. and the other 2 are 1 1/2 pounds! They are like little sausages with legs, way to cute. The best part is is that they are starting to develop their own personalities now. I'm getting a bit sad though because my time is almost 1 half over with them now. I have to start finding suitable mommies and daddies other then Bianca and Bubba, who are both doing great. Bianca is continuing to do a fabulous job with the babies and Bubba couldn't be more proud. He is the funniest to watch with them though! He doesn't move and just stares in amazement. I am very sure that things will get very interesting from here on out.....wish me luck!

1 Week Old

Now the fun begins! Actually the first week as been much easier than anticipated. Bianca is such an amazing mother that I didn't have much work to do at all, she took care of almost everything. My biggest job this week was to take care of her! New mommies need TLC and attention BIG TIME. She is so sweet though I don't mind at all! She has been eating alot and making sure she has enough energy for the new pups. I weighed the puppies at the end of the week and the biggest is 15 oz. the smallest is 12 oz. The little girl is the smallest! Bubba is slowly but surely allowed to see the puppies a little more every day, but mommy is still VERY protective. Today officially they are exactly 10 days old and still haven't opened their eyes yet, but it should be any day now! I can't wait that's my next little mile stone to look forward to. I have some super cute pics that I will post, they are starting to actually look like puppies now. They are developing their own little personalities too! The next few weeks are going to be big ones, I'll keep you posted!

As of July 12, 2007 @ 10:35 PM we've got puppies!!

It all started around 9:30 when Bianca started acting very strange! She was just not her self and just about an hour later she has the first puppy.....a BIG baby boy. Good thing "mom" was there to assist her to get the babies moving and shaking! She was very attentive to the first born but in about 10 min. the next puppy was ready to show its face! Next was another beautiful baby boy.....not quite as big as the first but still very healthy. Bianca made sure he was nice and clean! Then finally about 5 min. later the little baby girl arrived, with a bit of trouble but we made sure she was A-OK and ready to rock and roll! Of course like any proud father would be Bubba was pacing back and forth in fount of the door to the room. I still don't think that he quite gets whats going on, but Bianca sure tells him that she doesn't want him close to those babes! Finally when the whole production was over Bianca and her 3 beautiful healthy pups went softly to sleep......Zzzzzzzzzzz........... and then ate...............then slept..................then ate..........then slept................then well you get the picture!
